<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">30 Days of Night is pretty good. Although it's only a six part miniseries, and it's up to #5 already.

"Rob Zombie's Spookshow International" and "The Goon" are the two best comics going right now. Everyone should be buying these IMO. Although, they're not pure horror books (because they're mixing comedy, horror and suspense), they're still totally rad. I give 'em both 5 stars! A couple of other good ones that are along the same lines are ...

"Army of Darkness - Ashes to Ashes" (book one just came out last week; it's a good time to jump on board)

"Last Train to Deadsville" (a four book miniseries; on book 3)

"The Nail" (another miniseries; it's up to book two; I haven't read them yet but they're co-writen by Rob Zombie...should be good)

Here's a few more...

"Dawn of the Dead" (Basically the same storyline as the original movie; three books in total, all of which have been released)

"Dracula's Revenge" (Just started; Not bad; basically a Jack the Ripper storyline)

"Hack Slash" (Pretty good slasher type stories)

"Tales of the Vampires" (Vampire short stories by the creator of Buffy)

There are also a few good new series coming out in the next few months from Marvel... "Stoker's Dracula" and "Tomb of Dracula".

As far as The Nail, I'm reading it now...it's totally brutal. Definately worth picking up IMO.
I think I'll try to get the Army of Darkness next time I'm at the comic shop...
